Production management

Creating a big-budget movie or TV drama requires meticulous planning.  Once a production is green-lit, the production teams are put into place to do the prep.  The line producer works with the producer to create a detailed budget, the locations manager finds the right places to film and the assistant director works out a shooting schedule. The team then keeps the production on track during filming. At the end of the shoot, they tidy everything up (wrap) and the film or drama goes into post-production. (This process can also start whilst the drama is being shot.)
