Speaker

Documentary producer and director Sue Bourne has been in Broadcast’s Hot 100 twice in the last few years as one of Britain's top directors. Bourne’s style of documentary-making is now almost a brand - instantly recognisable and enjoyed by many all over the world. While the fifteen plus films she has produced over the past ten years capture the essence of life in contemporary society, in her gentle, thoughtful way Bourne has repeatedly managed to find the “extraordinary in the apparently ordinary” and bring her quirky, often humorous, vision to a rich variety of subjects.

Some of Bourne's award winning and nominated films include: Age of Loneliness (BBC), Fabulous Fashionistas (C4), Mum & Me (BBC), My Street – Cutting Edge (C4) and The Falling Man (C4)
