Over the last year my focus has been on broadening my knowledge and experience of working within the film industry.

I began by securing an internship at Somesuch production company, where I was able to work as a production assistant on a commercial for a men's clothing range as well as performing a range of administrative and production based tasks. Since then I have worked on two feature films at Pinewood Studios - Star Wars: Solo and the new Tim Burton film Dumbo. 

Having built a strong foundation with this experience, I am keen to pursue further training as an Assistant Director.

In addition to this I am also very interested in becoming a Camera Trainee. During my internship at JourneyFor production company in Belfast, I worked closely with the director on a range of projects as a Production Assistant, where I performed a variety of tasks. Including, handling camera equipment and cleaning lenses for a short independant film.

Through these many varied projects over the last year, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of camera departments of all shapes and sizes. This has given me a great insight into the skills required to become a trainee. 

I am also the founder of an online fashion and textiles business. After travelling to South East Asia, Japan and India last year I returned home with suitcases full of various fabrics, a mind full of designs as well as building some strong business relationships on the other side of the world. Given this experience, I believe I would also enjoy training in the costume department.
