Freelance Animator with directing experience.
When I'm not creating 2D animated content for clients or working on Independent short films, I enjoy drawing characters. I can work in a variety of traditional mediums and am happy to offer advice or support to those beginning new, creative projects.
My short films have been screened in Film Festivals around the world, including BFI Future Film, the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, and the Encounters Short Film Festival.
My interests lie in the Film and Game industries, and I am interested in freelance work in either field. Feel free to get in contact if you think I can be of assistance!

Animation Mentor
Contracted via FEAST Cornwall and Real Ideas as a part of their Compass program, I hosted personalised 1-to-1 mentoring sessions for a student midway through their BA(Hons) in Animation at UWE Bristol. Sessions were focused on the importance of clarity in pre-production, creative writing, and how to produce clear character designs.

Directing an independently-funded Animated Short film for a local writer, inspired by a famous Cornish Myth. Responsible for sourcing talent, planning production and budget. Working as Character Designer, Storyboard Artist and Support Animator and Cel Painter.

Directed the Animation Department for "Mia and the Dragon Princess": An Independent feature film and Interactive video game. Responsible for hiring team members, character designs, storyboard creation. Also worked as Animator and assistant Cel Painter.

Co-designed an Interactive Visual Novel for 10-16 year olds, inspired by Boingboing's Resilience Framework. Designed and created Character portrait art, animations and background layouts. Produced accompanying project documentation and printable activities.

Organised and ran Animation workshops for 10-16 year olds in Cornwall, and worked 1-to-1 with individuals in school and remotely during the pandemic.
