Roisin trained as an actor at Drama Centre London. She wrote her first play while taking part in the Royal Court 'Workers Writes' festival.
Stage work includes shows for: Trestle Theatre company, Orange Tree Theatre, The Kosh, Soho Theatre, Border Crossings, BAC, Chickenshed Theatre, Dante or Die, Farnham rep, The Stephen Joseph Theatre , Scarborough, Soho theatre, Leicester Square Theatre as well as various appearances in TV, radio and film.
Roisin has performed for several years on the London Comedy circuit and at the Edinburgh Festival as part of sketch comedy trio Rule of Three.

Roisin’s work as a playwright includes: ‘Troop’ (Etcetera theatre), ‘Baby Talk’ (Etcetera theatre), ‘Happy Campers’, (Barons Court Theatre/Southbank ) ‘The Beheading’(Etcetera Theatre), The Sketchcom (Edinburgh Underbelly/Leicester Square Theatre), ‘The Four Women of The Apocalypse.’ (Edinburgh Free Fringe/ Soho Theatre Studio), ‘Games Night’ & ‘The Grown Ups Are Talking’ , 'Gardening Leave' & 'Square One' (Soho Theatre Studio- rehearsed readings)
Roisin was recently given a script comission by BBC radio comedy to develop her script ‘The Grown Ups Are Talking’. She has also had development with King Bert Productions for her comedy 'Gardening Leave'.
Roisin is a founder member of theatre company Prams In The Hall for whom she wrote 'The Inner Life of Sophie Taylor' .
