I graduated from The University of York with a 2:1 in Film and TV Production. At Uni I helped costume over 50 productions including 12 short films and 5 professional performances. I tried to gain as much costume experience as I can through working on my colleague’s short films, joining the university’s dramatic societies and though my employment at York Theatre Royal. The shows and short films I have worked on have spanned a range of genre from period drama to futuristic musicals and from interpretive theatre to pantomime. For most of these productions I had sole responsibility for researching, designing, supervising, sourcing, constructing, fitting, altering, dressing and maintaining the costumes.
