About
I am an artist, graduated from City and Guilds of London Art School in BA Fine Art. My work as an artist has spanned different ways of painting, from hyper-realism to landscapes, food and still life’s, digital and 3D, working across oil, acrylic and ceramics. I have experience in scenic art, painting a backdrop for London’s Olympia horse of the year show as well as the many large scale paintings I have created. I have learnt techniques such as marbling, wood graining, chinoiserie and stone blocking. Throughout my Fine Art degree, I discovered that my real love and drive was in the materials I was using and particularly being able to manipulate these materials to become something else. Illusions and a love of materiality are at the centre of my work. I also have experience with ceramics, hand scultping over one hundered ceramic cookies for an Alice in Wonderland installation. I also have experience sculpting clay, mold making and casting.
