Karl graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2011 and has since been making his presence felt in the North West Theatre world.
His work as a Theatre Director is quickly building up a strong list of credits. Credits include site specific "beat em up" Better Brutality Than Boredom by Mark Reid at Antwerp Mansion in Manchester, five star dark political comedy Removed and Destroyed by Matthew Gabrielli and Robert Pegg's In Pursuit of Oblivion, both for The Lion Tamers Theatre Company. in 2012 Karl directed FINE by Michelle Ashton in 2012 and Minted by Mark Reid for Rampant in March 2012. Other directing work includes a monologue for the Ovation Awards in Glossop with Planet Rabbit Productions.
Karl is the Artistic Director of The Lion Tamers Theatre.
Producing credits include all productions for the Liontamers Theatre Company and several Edinburgh Fringe productions including The Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter
Karl has extensive Stage Management experience having worked on countless Edinburgh Fringe shows including The Rat Pack and Blues Brothers. Karl also has several years of pantomime experience and spent some time as resident technician for the Kings Arms Theatre in Salford.
