I’ve written another children’s book (aged 0-4 years) with my son which won a National Writing Competition and a new adult / YA psychological thriller.  I’ve also written articles for magazines and websites, and completed two screenplays.  I run storytelling and craft workshops as my alter ego, The Spectre Collector, a steampunk adventurer who travels the globe collecting myths, spirits and legends. www.facebook.com/spectrecollector

I blog and write feature articles on writing, health, science, reviews, leisure activities and travel. My ‘specialist’ subjects are geocaching and comping, (entering skills competitions) which has got me into all sorts of adventure. I’ve been swimming with dolphins while pregnant, blown up an abandoned school, and floated in zero gravity over Vegas in The Vomit Comet with Ozzy, Sharon and Jack Osbourne. (I believe that a writer should lead an interesting life.)

Prior to this, I worked in PR, copywriting, press releases and direct marketing, fundraising, organising events and publicity (press launches, photoshoots, etc) for a number of charities, The Independent Television Commission and the BBC.

I write a blog on parenting, days out and alternative forms of exercise, including Rock ‘n’ Pole dancing, roller disco and heavy metal bellydancing. My favourite exercise? Dancing round the kitchen with my kids to The Clash.  Sample blog post: www.catwomanga.wordpress.com/creature-discomforts
