About
My first experience of filmmaking was as a runner on a documentary about punk rock in the eighties. ‘Rough Cut & Ready Dubbed’ was made by a group of school children and we won the Grierson award. I left school and trained as an audio-visual designer within the events industry. After building a successful career in video and animation production for large format multi-screen projection, fifteen years ago I returned to my interest in filmmaking and have since made several independent short films with official selections at festivals including Tribeca, Shanghai, Palm Springs, Montreal, Raindance, Rushes, London Short Film Festival, East End Film Festival, Encounters, Iris Prize, Cambridge Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival and the Jewish Film Festival. I completed my first feature doc 'dead good' in August 2018. I am currently working on a short doc and developing another feature doc... I am a WFTV 2018 mentee.
