Winning the award at the International Makeup Artist Magazine Show in New York (IMATS) and the endorsements received from top Makeup Professionals, as a unique talent to watch out for, brought Sara to London, to be in one of the worlds reference cities.
Her creative work is inspired by all kinds of art, but especially architecture & cinema. Work from the likes of Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry and the work of cinema directors David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Tim Burton just to name a few, have a huge impact on her vision.
Sara took drawing classes at the National Society of Beaux Arts (Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, SNBA) and went to Medicine School where she attended Anatomy classes. Later on studied Makeup and Makeup effects in Los Angels, London, Spain and Portugal.
Sara has been working mostly in the film industry and was nominated for Best Makeup at the Sophia Awards 2014 for the Portuguese Cinema Academy and has been working with celebrities like, Idris Elba, Ewan Mcgregor, Sadie Frost, Tinie Tempah, Charlene White, Noel Fieldings, Sally Philips, Kate Dickie, Yinka Shonibare, Adil Hussain, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sarah-Jane Dias, Sandhya Mridul, David Hoyle, Izzi Dunn....
