About
UWE Bristol Filmmaking and Creative media graduate. Specialising in cinematography and lighting.
Passionate about everything film, documentary and broadcast - also enjoy the outdoors, mountain and ocean landscapes and the lifestyles within them. Most of all surfing and snowboarding.
Since graduating in July 2017, I have stepped up my enthusiam for filmmaking and aquired valuable experience in professional working environments. I have worked as a Video Trainee on Feature Films such as 'Wonder Woman', and most recently 'All the Money in the World'. Also i have been on TV Films such as 'My Dinner With Herve' and 'A Very English Scandal', which wrapped as of 8th December this year.
These roles have been short term, daily crew opportunities in the video deptartment, so I am yet to work on a long-running project start to finish. however, the knowledge of working on a professional film set has been invaluable to me.
I hope to soon find a route into the camera department.
Alongside obtaining industry experience, I have been working on smaller scale projects as a Director of Photography, with one project being my main student film 'Father of the Man' which is now starting its festival run.
Another being a Channel 4 Funded Random Acts project filmed at The Bottleyard Studios in Bristol, and a short film shot in Bristol during summer 2017 'From Black to Red', now in post production.
Another student short, ‘The Girls’ directed by Olivia Joyce, has won the regional RTS student awards and also picked up a craft award for best camerawork, for which I was camera operator the film will now be put forward for the RTS Nationals.
I hope to persue a career in the camera departments on feature film productions. My transferable skills and knowledge of filmmaking make me an asset to any production, and i'm looking forward to the challenges the next project will bring.
