Diane is a choreographer, movement director and movement coach interested in a character physical conditions, special physical skills and dance, period etiquette and comportment, devising ensemble work, chorus and crowd movement, and large scale/mass events.  

She works in close collaboration with directors and casts, focussing on the physical life and physical/dance vocabulary in a variety of production settings – commercial work; new writing and classical works in theatre, film or television; Opera, outdoor/site specific events and collaborating with artists and creative teams.  

Her choreography and movement expertise has been seen in Iqbal Khan’s Othello and Gregory Doran’s Julius Caesar for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.  Other credits include Almeida Theatre, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Young Vic, Bush Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, and Unicorn Theatre.  Diane’s TV credits include Julius Caesar for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Illuminations and the BBC.

Diane also is also an actor movement tutor teaching and lecturing across a number of universities and drama schools.  She regularly teaches at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is the Head of the Part-Time Foundation Acting course at ALRA South.
