About
AW15 Collection Teaser!
"Exploration, global and intergalactic unfolds through layer upon layer this season. Studded outerwear built for galactic colonisation is thrown over bandaged and jarred silhouettes. Extensively decorated fabrications make Picasso-inspired surfaces on a jigsawed construction. Eyes are drawn to vintage workwear details, slanted pistol pockets, asymmetric collars and reinforced patches that establish the cubic construct. Intense colour pools saturate disjointed cosmonautical shells. Rough and ready merlot leather is badged with mashes of hotel keys and metals jumbled with embroidery. Think along the lines of a dishevelled Joan Jett, in a hardened biker's waistcoat ready to board an interstellar adventure and you'll get the picture."
I am a fourth year Fashion Design student at the University of Westminster, with a strong print orienated aestethic. I am extremely surface design focused and am looking for a career in design incorporating print and textile.
I am confident on photoshop and digital print as well as enjoying silk screening. I have undertaken extenisve work placements across fashion and textiles brands working with the print technicians at Zandra Rhodes, embellishment and pattern cutting departments at Giles, the design team at Marios Schwab and aiding with embroidery development at Marchesa. I have attached my CV for more information.
I will be graduating and presenting my final collection in May 2015 and hope to progress to a career in fashion design with print and textile development.
