I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Position in Art Department. My recent job experience and education makes me confident in applying for the job in art department.
I am an Art department junior and also finishing my MA in Production Design from Arts University Bournemouth and till now i have worked on almost 10 short films as a production designer. Not only this, i have also played several other roles in an Art Department including Art Director, Costume Designer, Prop Master, Set Dresser, Concept Artist, Budget coordinator and scheduling Risk Assessment.
In addition to my personal and previous education qualities, I have a solid education foundation and a passion for design. I have a better understanding of designing in films is because i come from an architecture background. I have completed my graduation in Architecture in 2017, which really helped me to step into film industry. I worked as an intern assistant art director for TV series for 6 months. And this experience took me forward and grabbed me an opportunity to work in a period feature film "Swords and Sceptres" set in 19th century. I was involved in the film as a set dresser and Conceptual as well as working drawing artist. While working on this film i have learned so much in each and every aspect of Film Design and realised that i absolutely love my job. I am extremely passionate about it as there were times when i had worked 18 hours a day, being a multi-tasking person and also worked under high pressure environment, but at the same time i loved what i did. After having all that experience, i decided to study MA Production design professionally and now i am here.
Being an Architect and an aspiring  Production Designer i have developed my skills working on a software like, AutoCad, Google Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D manual models and Hand drafting for design layouts.
Therefore, everything that i have done and all the experiences i have mentioned above has helped me so much to develop the skills that are needed to be in this profession. I am extremely enthusiastic, curious, and keen to learn more and more in my job.
