About
Looking to further my experience in costume making trainee for Film and HETV productions.
The range of costumes I’ve made for productions and personal projects covers period costume from Tudor to 1910s, as well as contemporary such as a soft tailoring Jackie Kennedy 1960's suit, an inverted classical tutu, and a prop armour in leatherwork and worbla complemented with a silk long tailed gown.
Regarding wardrobe management experience, I have experience as a dresser and wardrobe assistant as well as costume supervisor assistant for theatre productions mainly.
Recently graduated in costume construction at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in June 2020, where I developed my sewing skills, as well as using different construction techniques, such as tailoring, stretch fabrics, and prop costume for film.
Prone to practise experimental fabric manipulation techniques to dye, make or decorate surfaces for an ultimate, innovative and enrichment of garments.
Competent collaborator with designers, actors and directors, able to interpret designer’s vision of costumes, with good hand and machine sewing skills, liable to organise working stations, supplies, workload, and efficient working on my own initiative and as part of a team.
