About
I recently finished BBC Writer’s Room Writers Access Group to establish and hone disabled writing talent for TV and film. As part of the opportunity, I have developed a three episode 60 minute series called Into Thin Air. A frazzled mother thinks her son is not son after a period of being missing. She begins to think he has been taken by faeries.
I love creating work that suggests a world that existence just on the edges of our own. I take a lot of inspiration from the celtic ideas of the Otherworld and magical realism from hispanic cultures. Within all my work I try to ensure that I give voice to the marginalised and disenfranchised and create stories that pull an audience in to understanding a new perspective. I enjoy finding the humour in the dark and the darkness in the light which gives me the ability to create well rounded shows.
