About
Adriana Páramo Pérez was born in Galicia (Spain) in 1985. She achieved a degree in Audiovisual communication in 2007 specialising in scrip writing and directing from the University of Santiago de Compostela, (Spain).
Wanting to develop her technical skills, she enrolled the MA in film making from The London Film School. She graduated in 2010 as director of the internationally awarded short film 'Stone Island', which became the first short film in Galicia to have voice over for the deaf. After this, she had the opportunity to work in film shoots in several countries holding different positions.
She has worked on hundreds of projects as production manager in branded and corporate films for clients such as HSBC or Unilever UK. Nowadays she combines freelance positions in different productions with her PhD Media Studies at the Royal Holloway University. Her latest work as director is the short film Galicia.Portobello Road (winner at Mexican International Film Festival 2016) and the video poem Ovella, trailer for Lara Dopazo's 2016 Francisco Añón Poetry Award winner book.
