After graduating from Westminster Film School, where I specialised in production management, I realised that although university had provided me with knowledge and experience of budgets, scheduling and managing crews of 30+ people, I still had a lot to learn before moving into the production office. Over the last year, I have learnt how to manage sensitive data, raise POs and have developed strong interpersonal skills, communicating with colleagues and customers daily, both over the phone and via email. Like work in the production office, a large part of my current role is dependant on these crucial interactions. I am now eager to bring these skills back into film production, using them in an industry which truly inspires me.
