Eight productions that contributed to the High-end TV Skills Fund were among the winners at this year’s BAFTA Television Craft Awards. The ceremony, held at London’s new The Brewery venue and hosted by presenter Stacey Dooley, celebrates the creativity, skills and craft of the best behind the camera television talent from the last year.

There were two wins each for Apple TV+’s Slow Horses (See-Saw Films), winning in the Editing: Fiction and Sound: Fiction categories, and Silo (AMC Studios / Apple TV+) which picked up awards for Original Music and Production Design. Jack Rook collected the prize for Comedy Writing for his comedy-drama, Big Boys, Three Little Birds was awarded in the Scripted Casting category and there were also wins for Such Brave Girls, The Witcher and Wilderness.

The ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund once again supported the vital work of crew in production by returning as a sponsor for one of the categories. It was for the Best Make-up and Hair Design award which saw Fund contributing production The Long Shadow beat off competition from fellow contributors The Crown, Slow Horses and Three Little Birds to collect the prize.

The BATFA Television Awards, awarding prizes across front-of-camera categories, will take place on 12 May. We congratulate all the winners of the Craft Awards and thank them for their contributions to the Fund, ensuring investment in the current and future generation of production talent.
