Intern
As an intern at this digital marketing agency, I have completed a versatile range of tasks. These include the writing of scripts, editing imagery, the transcription of footage and podcasts, and filming and directing short videos. I also act as a runner off-site, setting up equipment and ensuring filming runs smoothly.
-
Social Media Marketing Assistant
Created images and videos, wrote copy and scheduled social media posts for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Used tools such as Canva, Planoly and the Google Workspace suite of applications. Also reached out to influencers and bloggers for potential collaborations.
-
Freelance Writer
I worked as a content creator for multiple online publications, with one being film reviews and general commentary for ‘CineBling Limited’. I edited and proofread my own work. I have also written for ‘All Things Dogs’, which involved collating research from various sources and translating this into the framework of the article, before adding my opinion and stylistic flair.
-
Customer Assistant / Picker and Packer
As well as being trained on checkouts, I worked within the Home Delivery department from the outset at the Pontefract store. I was responsible for quickly picking items and ensuring high item availability for the entire team. We secured some of the highest picking, dispatch and availability figures in the region.
-
Administrative Assistant
I co-created many of the writing and forensic linguistic workshops the company delivers to schools and other educational outlets. I proofread first drafts, wrote content for their social media pages and carried out research. I typeset novels using Adobe InDesign and became a proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
