I have a keen interest in TV & Film Production, with over a decade of experience working on sets, Adobe editing software, meeting with experienced Production teams and educating myself on the different aspects of both post and pre-production, I’m now transforming this passion into a successful career.

Experience

Floor Runner
I achieved a freelance contract at ITV's Coronation Street, where I have gained studio experience, as well as new skills and knowledge for the industry.

Runner
I spent a weekend in Birmingham assisting on an upcoming production around racism in Cricket, a topic in which I feel very strongly about and was honoured to be apart of. I worked with several high-end cricket players, our PD and presenter, Adil Ray. My main focus was to make sure the crew were taken care of, assist with kit, mics and release forms.

Runner
I assisted on CBBC's A Kind Of Spark, here I worked alongside a young cast members, their chaperones and other cast and crew, catering for their needs and assisting with traffic by location.

Floor Runner
For 2 weeks I had the pleasure of working as a Floor Runner for Holby City, within that time I gained and was taught the basic skills necessary to be a runner. I communicated and catered for the main cast and crew, locked off traffic, was in charge of radios and a tea trolley. I even gained an on-screen credit for this role.

Production Runner
I worked as a runner on Channel 5’s ‘Bargain Loving Brits By The Sea’ where I gained experience working with members of the public with VOXPOPs, assisting with the transport of kit, taking COVID precautions and filling contribution and release forms.

Runner/Location Assistant
I worked as a runner for Quest Red’s The Bad Skin Clinic, I helped set up, transport and dismantle equipment, applied makeup to cast and assisted with mics.

Traineeship Level 1 BTEC in TV, Film, Broadcasting & Digital Media
I completed my 4 month traineeship with Manchester International Festivals Factory Academy course. Through this, I was offered work experience at Toasted Productions in MediaCity, where I edited for a large brand advertisement and gained skills in being a researcher.
