About
After many years of Art and Drama classes in school and studying Acting upon completion of VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education, AUS), I enrolled in an Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design at Melbourne Fashion Institute in 2013. Over the following three years, I found my love of costumes and designing through the different aspects of the course. Upon Graduation in 2015, I had collected many skills along the way (such as Millinery, Fashion Design Techniques and Pattern-making) as well as exploring my interests, leading me to the costume industry.
Through Primary and Secondary schooling, I learned to express creativity in new ways, which taught me to broaden my horizons. It wasn't until Year 8, when I started to sketch garments, embracing more theatrical influences with each design. This has flourished as I continue to add new skills to my repertoire.
While I have the technical ability to tailor garments from the ground up, I best thrive in the areas of Research and Design, taking the pieces from my imagination and breathing life onto the page.
