This session will explain the basic principles of writing proposals from the initial 'back-of-an-envelope' idea through to a fully-fledged treatment. We'll analyse how ideas are pitched and developed, and give examples of how this has worked in practice. We'll also discuss the increasing importance of sizzle tapes.

Who it's for

This session is suitable for researchers and APs looking to improve their skills in pitching and selling an idea.
