To flourish in a freelance career, you’ll need to manage your emotional well-being and physical energy as well as your finances. The facilitator Michelle O’Dowd is a TV Producer and qualified Mental Health Therapist. She will provide insights on how to befriend your inner critic and recognise your negative thought patterns as well as cultivate boundaries and resilience. This interactive workshop aims to equip you with strategies to not only survive but thrive as yourself in the TV industry.

Speaker

Michelle O’Dowd is a qualified practicing talk therapist with over twenty-year experience in the broadcast industry.

Michelle decided to follow her desire to train as a talk therapist and was awarded a Distinction in her Fd Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Ulster in 2020 and has been working as a professional counsellor for the last two years. She continues to work in various freelance positions with BBC as a freelance Producer and as a Creative Director at Ronin Films.
