Brenton is a young animator and filmmaker possessing a well-rounded skill set including, but not limited to, 2D animation, motion graphics, storyboarding, video editing, directing and coordination. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation from the University of the Arts London in 2014, Brenton worked predominantly as an animator within film production and marketing agencies across the United Kingdom. He has a strong understanding of both visual storytelling and experience in each step of the animation and film production process.

With experience in both practical working environments (live action, and stop motion) as well as experience working both remotely and in-studio on digital animation work, Brenton has proven to be adaptable in order to meet the needs of each project he's worked on.

Brenton’s skill in illustration enables him to effectively draft and conceptualize ideas with an eye for composition, character and three-dimensional perspective.

In 2015, Brenton released an independent, auteur-driven short film titled ‘Outside the Box’, which he animated and directed.

   Storyboarded, animated and directed a documentary based animation for a BBC client while working remotely. The film was an After Effects production and consisted of a team of two animators.

   Worked within a fast-paced post-production studio on Discovery’s reality-based television series. Responsibilities included: Assisting editors with GFX requests, storyboarding and commissioning CGI animation from third party vendor as well as attending final QC meetings. Created interstitial text-based GFX and maintained an archive. Was also a liaison between offline editors, edit producers, online editors, and the executive producer.
