Mum of four Camilla Lewis on setting up and growing an indie

The founder of Curve Media talks to media consultant Donna Taberer on setting up and growing an indie - and being a mum of four.

Camilla shares her experience of setting up and growing a successful indie (independent production company). She also talks about how to pitch and why the word “celebrity” makes her want to be a bit sick.

This Q&A, which was recorded from her home, is an Industry Greats Masterclass which happened on 23 April 2020. The event was supported by the ScreenSkills Television Skills Fund, which invests in training for the freelance television workforce thanks to contributions from the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

It was part of a ScreenSkills programme designed by media consultant Donna Taberer to support freelancers to upskill and stay connected, helping keep the industry resilient in the coronavirus crisis.
