Delivered by Gemma Nicholson of Post-Super.com and Ravensbourne University London, this course is for production coordinators and secretaries seeking to gain a better understanding of the post production workflow, starting with pre-production and going all the way to final delivery.

This half-day course is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK high-end TV productions and will be delivered online via Zoom, with a choice of sessions taking place in October and November 2021.

Who it's for

This course is for production coordinators and secretaries working in high-end TV with at least six months’ work experience who are  seeking to develop additional skills to improve how they interface with post production.  This will include being able to understand the post production workflow, Post Department's requests and the contractual documentation that they will ask to be delivered to them at wrap.

What it covers

The course will cover:

  • how post production works
  • the contractual delivery requirements
  • how the different roles involved support one another to make this happen on time and on budget
  • a full breakdown of how to hand over paperwork properly to the post management team including clearances and credits

The course will run every Tuesday from 12th October to 16th November 2021 between 1-5pm.   You only need to attend one afternoon session.
