Apprenticeship case studies

As the industry-led skills body for the screen industries, we help to coordinate the development of new apprenticeships and work with industry and Government to develop and support this critical route into the industry.

Apprenticeship case studies

Through this, we have led the creation of two flexi-apprenticeship pilot programmes funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Department for Education (DfE), delivered in partnership with Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, Prime Video, Sky, Fremantle, Banijay UK and Lime Pictures.

The programmes aim to address critical skills gaps, explore the viability of apprenticeships within areas of production that typically work with freelancers and to provide a vocational entry route into the screen industry.
