About
Hi, I'm Dom. I'm a writer, presenter, stand-up comedian, documentary maker and PR student at Bournemouth University.
I've been fortunate enough to present over thirty TV shows for JumpTV and the TV Production degree course at BU. I've also hosted two Channel 4 pilot submissions, including a comedy panel show 'Whose Round Is It Anyway'. I also anchored the Bournemouth University's 10-hour live televised coverage of the General Election results.
I hosted a local radio show for two years - one episode of which was dedicated to my exclusive interview with BAFTA-winning Game Designer Dan Marshall.
I've interviewed BBC Radio 4's John Humphrys, Rev. Richard Coles, founding President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom Lord Philips, Leader of the Scottish Conservatives Ruth Davidson and then-Editor of The Sun David Dinsmore, along with several others. This was for my documentary 'Why Should I Vote?' released in May 2015 to encourage young voters in the UK's General Election. It received some very positive reviews, which was lovely, and is viewable here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suuGtTqsHTQ (should you be at all interested!)
I've also sold jokes to BBC R4's Newsjack and perform stand-up comedy.
I'm also Simon Amstell's stunt double. I don't get a lot of work for that one.
