Andrew is a graduate of the National Film and Television School, who began his career in development on BAFTA winning medical drama Holby City, before going on to work on several other major TV dramas including Coronation Street and Endeavour. He is currently script editing the third series of Agatha Raisin.
He has produced several award-winning short films and animations,which have been selected for over 200 film festivals worldwide including Edinburgh, Clermont-Ferrand and Warsaw. His most recent films "Christmas Tree" was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award and "Bitter Sea" was nominated for the BIFA for Best British Short Film.
He has recently begun to explore the possibilities of storytelling in Virtual Reality, with his debut game Into the Black being nominated for 2 Unity Awards, including the honour of being the only UK entry to be nominated for Best Student Game. Upload VR cited it as one of their top 50 games for 2017, and VR Focus heralded the game as: “The future is bright and enthusiastic about game creation and VR, based on Into the Black”.
Andrew took part in Berlinale Talents 2017 and is also in the BFI NETWORK X BAFTA Crew 2018 & 2019 programme.
