My curiosity lies in the live event, the temporary nature of performance and its subsequent effect on the audience. How live and shared experiences create opportunities for congregation and togetherness which seem increasingly important given the isolating effect of developing digital technology. I find the collective energy produced during live experiences both exciting and creatively rewarding to be a part of, and am excited to explore these avenues further through film production and installation.
I have a hands-on approach to design and can confidently apply myself to any part of the process. My training has developed my technical, practical and social skills, such as model making, scenic painting and computer aided design. I take great pleasure in meeting and working alongside like-minded people, particularly when collaborating with a wider art department and technical crew.
