About
Max Barber had beginnings and an education in drama & theatre, then extensive training at The London Film School. This led to a career currently spanning over 15 years as a producer & director making factual entertainment, documentaries, and reality TV for a range of UK & global broadcasters.
He is also an award winning independent filmmaker and has explored subjects as varied as human rights, sexuality, pornography, gender identity and disability through his work in scripted fiction and authored documentaries. His diverse films have been screened at numerous international film festivals and distributed in North America through TLA Releasing, MTV Logo, CFMDC, and in the UK through Peccadillo Pictures and Channel 4.
