About
I'm a London-based filmmaker and editor.
Trained at the London Film School, I graduated in 2016 as the Producer and co-editor of 'In The Hills', which won second prize in the Cinefondation category at the Cannes Film Festival and also played at TIFF.
I now work principally as an editor, with a particular interest in narrative fiction. I've cut five feature films, ranging from micro-budgets to cinema releases, and multiple short fiction projects, many of which have premiered at prestigious festivals. I've also done extensive work in online promos, music videos, and trailers.
Since 2019 I've worked with Optic Nerve Films as editor and additional editor on a variety of documentaries, mostly focussed on American literary figures of the Beat generation.
In addition to editing work, I've written and directed a number of short films, and directed several music videos for independent artists. My short film 'Gutterwitch' played at the BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica film festival and now has over 250,000 views on YouTube.
I'm collaborative, hard-working, and story-focussed. With a background in independent film, I'm used to problem-solving on limited budgets and to dealing with the technical aspect of video editing. I've worked in all the major NLEs (and a couple of minor ones), and am confident overseeing projects from start to finish.
