About
I am a moving image artist, animator and photographer. My work is often experimental using a number of different media to create colour, texture and pattern.
My work explores a number of themes, such as existentialism, the act of being and the mundane. My primary influences are Bob Sabiston, Stan Brakhage and Julian Opie, amongst others. Noteworthy commissions include ‘Cardigan’s Corner Shop’, an animated poetry film commissioned by Sky, subsequently aired on the Sky Arts channel; and locally ‘A Postcard from Lancashire’, an animated experimental documentary, commissioned by and screened at The Harris Museum as part of Lancashire Encounter.
