I am an experienced lighting technician currently transitioning into film and photography work. I have a passion for creating atmosphere and to date have explored this through my degree in lighting design. Much of my spare time is spent watching films and my love of cinema has grown in tandem with my understanding of light. This deep appreciation for the medium led me to base my final year dissertation around the relationship between technology and art in film.
I now have a range of film related experiences, including spending a week at Arri Rental UK, working with several local video producers and completing the National Youth Film Academy's Easter program. Longer term, I am working towards applying to the National Film and Television School to study Cinematography at MA level.
