About
I write for stage, radio and television. In 2007 I represented England at the World Interplay Young Writer’s Festival, following which was selected to be part of the Next Generation residency with the BBC Writers' Room and BBC3. In 2009 I participated in the Sparks Radio scheme, for which I wrote a short play for Radio 3's programme, The Verb and was consequently commissioned by radio 3 and radio 4.
In 2010 I was one of nine writers’ on the Royal Court’s ‘Supergroup’, and was one of eight writers on the final ever BBC Writer’s Academy in 2012, leading to two years as a core writer for BBC EastEnders.
I'm currently Associate Artist with Anything Other Theatre Company and have work in development with both Red Planet Pictures and The Forge TV Companies. I have also written a play for the 2018 National Theatre Connections scheme called When They Go Low.
I am also an experience facilitator with over nine years’ experience working with a diverse range of organisations including Clean Break Theatre Company; Bush Theatre and Old Vic New Voices. I most recently spent four years as the YFA Projects Manager at the Almeida Theatre, creating and producing new work with and for young people. As producer, shows included The Red Helicopter by Robin French; Encourage the Others by John Donnelly and Parallax by Rebecca Prichard.
