About
I am a dance artist, performer, teacher and choreographer. In September 2014 I completed an MA in Contemporary Performance Practices at Royal Holloway University of London, graduating with a distinction. Australian by birth, but holder of a European passport (Spanish) my career in dance and performance has taken me from Sydney to Tokyo, New York, Madrid, Barcelona, and now London. As a choreographer and maker of performance I have won two first prizes for choreography in major competitions in Spain (Madrid 2002 and Burgos 2006) and my work has been presented in several countries around the world including those I've lived in (mentioned above) as well as Italy, Chile and the Czech Republic. My teaching work has included all levels of dance (beginners through to professionals), physical preparation, improvisation, choreography and composition.
My most recent performing has been in my own devised work, both working solo as well as in collaboration with the brilliant young emerging playwright Adam Foster.
