I am an aspiring Cinematographer based in London. My passion for film and photography has been one of the only consistent things in my life which has helped cement my love and passion for the industries and mediums. My aim at the moment is to train and hone my skills as a Camera Assistant and to slowly work my way up to the level of Cinematographer.
I believe I possess the right skills to attain this, basic skills such as patience, positive attitude, willingness to work and learn as part of a team. I also believe I possess my own individual skills to help me progress my career, skills like adapting and understanding new technologies quickly and the gentle approach/style I adopt when working with cameras.
I have a BA in Film Studies and a Diploma in Practical Filmmaking and although I know these qualifications are not necessary for working in film I believe they have given me an advantage in understanding the complex process of filmmaking from it's early pre production stage right up through to production and post production.
I look forward to any new opportunities to advance my career and learn under the fellow creatives within the industry. I would relish the chance to be able to learn under an industry professional and help me develop my own skills in the camera department.
