About
I have been the Production Assistant at Century Films for two and a half years. Working as the only PA within a small company has allowed me to gain experience working closely with Production Managers, Producers and Directors, as well as gaining a good insight into the post production process. This has equipped me with the right skills and a thorough understanding of what it means to be a successful Production Co-ordinator.
I have strong experience of setting up and supporting shoots, both UK based and abroad, with my responsibilities including arranging travel, accommodation, kit hire and travel documentation. Post-production paperwork is something which I am very familiar with and feel confident completing. I have also recently worked on location as a production assistant for a drama short. This was a huge learning curve for me and one that I thoroughly enjoyed and made the most of.
I have recently completed a Production Co-ordination Programme (a collaboration between Creative Skillset, The Indie Training Fund and BBC Academy), so I am hoping to move on to Production Co-ordinator roles in the near future.
