About

Since 2017, I have been involved in a range of areas for the ScreenSkills Film Trainee Finder programme, including; trainee application shortlisting, induction content design and delivery, event logistics and coordination.

Outside of project work for Screenskills, I'm a freelance, broadcast television, Line Producer with over 23 years experience in making TV programmes in a variety of genres including; factual, entertainment and children's. I've worked on commissions, pilots and development for all the UK terrestrial channels and overseas reversion sales. Responsible for managing production teams of just 3 to 50+ personnel, creating and managing budgets and schedules, studios, location access and management, shoot setups, H&S, kit & technology, recruitment, compliance, accounts, post production, in-job training and business affairs.

I have arranged overseas rescue of personnel under armed guard, setup shoots all over the world and successfully managed a number of location based, medical emergencies.

In 2004, I setup the popular TV jobs vacancy site theunitlist.com and run it alongside the day job. I am invited to deliver guest lectures around the country at various universities and I produce and deliver training and industry events for clients that include; BAFTA, ScreenSkills, Indie Training Fund, Royal Television Society. Over the last few years I have been very privileged to be invited to contribute to industry working groups and industry development projects including; BBC Academy's Fast Train events, Screenskills' Production Coordinator Training Programme, Trainee Finder and Open Doors and PACT's Project Diamond.
