About
I am currently graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, having specialised with an MA in Performance Design: Scenic Art and Construction. Over the last 2 years, I focused on prop makes - from caskets and cadavers, to books and daggers - as well as painting scenery for theatrical productions. As a maker, I've always loved the challenge of finding a way to illustrate stories for audiences to enjoy. My love of research and history combined with a joy in craft, allows me to develop intricate and functional props and scenery for any production.
In regards to industry work, I have completed a 2 week placement with Bad Wolf Productions at the start of 2024. During my undergraduate degree, I worked on a number of 48 hour film challenges and assisted my peers with the design and creation of their films during their projects. It was through this that I learnt of my love for film and television design and props making.
I am skilled in in moulding, casting, scenic painting, digital visualisation, 3D printing, and poly-carving. I also have experience with prop and scenic sourcing, working with large scale budgets, and project management.
