About
I have been involved in theatre and the creative industries for a decade now and just graduated with a degree in 'Theatre; Writing, Directing and Performance'. I have always been creative and enjoy pushing boundaries with the projects I work on.
The past three years I have worked in a number of roles backstage, but I am most passionate working on set design and props making. My first major set design was for my degree, where I created an experimental war-torn home setting which involved suspending large shards of mirror and disecting furniture. Other projects include working on the York Mystery Wagon Plays and for the York Shakespeare Project where I have been a Set Designer/constructor and Props Master.
During my degree I worked on a number of 48 hour film challanges and assisted my peers with the design and creation of their films during their projects. It was through this that I learnt of my love for film and television design and props making.

The past three years I have worked in a number of roles backstage, but I am most passionate working on set design and props making. My first major set design was at the York Mystery Plays 2017 where I helped to build a golden prison on a wagon. I am looking to expand in this area of the industry as I have a resourcefulness and uniqueness I can bring to any project.
