Since completing a Masters in film at the University of Nottingham, Lauren went straight onto television and film sets as a production assistant and sound recordist. She started her career with Endemol, making content for Channel 4. Lauren’s first production manager role was on the micro-budget feature Zombie Hood. From there she joined another micro-budget feature Wasteland as line producer. Lauren has gone on to produce a vast array of projects including adverts and promos, music videos, web content and short films with a range of directors and production companies. Her most successful short ‘6 Shooter’ was not only a finalist in a national competition and opened at Frightfest but has since been screened at festivals around the world and on the horror channel. She is currently in development to produce a feature length version with a Bristol based production company. A second horror short has also been screened on the horror channel, and she has several films available to stream or download via video on demand services including iTunes.
Aside from that, Lauren is presently in the edit for her largest budget short yet Night Owls which was her first departure from genre and corporate filmmaking.
