About
The visual arts have been a passion of mine throughout my entire adult life. I chose to undertake the BA (Hons) Photography degree at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design, and Technology to gain exposure to multiple creative disciplines. My time there allowed me to understand my own interests, develop my own style of photographic practice, and to assess possible opportunities within the field of photo/video journalism, film and art.
I am motivated by accountability, social justice and humanitarian issues and my current portfolio of work represents this. I would now like to develop my skills within the film and television industries.
To date I have worked on feature documentaries, recording sound and shooting video. I have produced, filmed, and directed a documentary for United Nations Develeopment Programme on Illegal logging. I have also worked extensively in studios controlling lights and camera equipment.
