About
Manos is a London-based filmmaker and editor and the founder of Killing Saint Jack Productions. He grew up in Greece and South Africa before finally settling back to his hometown in Limassol, Cyprus.
He has an MA in Filmmaking from the London Film School. He graduated in 2014, with merit in writing and directing. His graduation film, ‘Dilip’s Castle’, has screened at the London Short Film Festival, Short Waves Film Festival, East End Film Festival, and British Shorts Berlin 2017. It was shortlisted for Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase. While in LFS he directed a short documentary called ‘Seeing the Funny Side’. It’s an intimate portrait of a stand-up comedian who happens to be just 3’6” tall and it received an official selection in Soho Rushes '13 and a permanent home on Films for Change.
Since graduating he has been working as a freelance director and editor. He has made fashion films, music videos, music promos, and short documentary promos for a variety of clients like Vogue, Numero Tokyo, Deezer, Year Here, and The Telegraph. He is an Avid Media Composer certified editor. He was assistant editor on ‘Meeting Gorbachev’ directed by Werner Herzog. He finished editing his first feature, ‘Cranley Gardens’ directed by Rafael Kapelinski in 2019. He is now working as Post Production Supervisor for Endemol Shine UK and Douglas Road Productions, in collaboration with BBC4 and BBC1.
He is in development for his next short films, ‘Sleepover’, Wooden Swords’ and ‘Three Piece’ and his first feature film, ‘Goodnight, London’.
