About
A Northern, Queer Writer & Director. Having currently worked in Film & HETV as a Script Editor and Director’s Assistant, I have worked closely with prolific creatives such as Ben Wheatley and with companies such as Lucas Films and Netflix.
Now developing my own slate of work as a Writer & Director, my writing has been shortlisted for competitions through the BBC, BFI as well as most recently being a finalist at Raindance Film Festival with my script ‘Egg & Chips’ that is now in post-production.
I have since been part of a fellowship writing course through Raindance Film School where I have developed my first feature film. As a writer, I approach my work with a humanistic approach and hopes to continue to write work that addresses social stigmas and how everyday characters encounter extraordinary and emotional challenges.
