About
My name is Arlene and I am a HETV and film costume assistant/standby. I have experience in various skills within the department. Buying and sourcing, fittings, alterations and repairs, dressing and derigging, maintenance and everyday laundry, set-ups and prep for following day filming and standby. I’ve learnt to be vigilant and observant for continuity. I’m a good communicator within the team and to other crew members in other departments. I work hard and I’m familiar to the long work hours within the business. I strive to be professional within the industry and equally important be a team member to help create a successful and enjoyable work environment.
I graduated in 2015 in BA textile art, design and fashion and since then have pursued my career with costume in tv, film and theatre.
