About
Having entertained a boundless imagination and distinctly passionate nature since I was a child, I spent much of my youth obsessing over classic British cinema. Inspired by a love for celluloid, I trained as an actor in London, but soon found life behind the camera much more empowering than in front of it. I am a self-taught filmmaker and founded East London production company 'Hi-Gloss Productions' that ran for nine years. During this time, I worked with both commercial brands and other fellow creatives, and also travelled extensively and began to develop my voice as a writer. Although my aesthetic is often inspired by the macabre, a sense of the spiritual also informs my work, compelling me to write about magic, Shadow and the Divine Feminine.
Since returning to Bristol in 2015, I have focused more on my own filmic endeavours, including the documentary short Valerie, which is has recently completed a successful run on the international festival circuit. Quiet Thunder Films serves as a platform for my upcoming work as a writer/filmmaker. I am currently developing several new fictional projects. If any of them resonate and you'd like discuss collaborating, please get in touch.
