I am an Art Department Assistant/Runner with a very strong background in the arts. Having completed my Foundation year in Art and Design at The London College of Fashion, I have since worked across a broad spectrum of the creative and media industries including Fashion, Photography and Events. I have extensive knowledge of studio lighting kit as a result of working in photographic studios for a number of years, for both editorial and commercial film and stills shoots.
I gained work experience on the set of feature film ‘Blessed’ starring James Nesbitt and Natascha McElhone. My main role on this production was assisting with photo documentation, running and also looking after cast in the green room. This was a fantastic opportunity from which I learnt a great deal.
I also have over 3 years experience in Event Production and Management and in the past year have been working on many and varied creative projects within set design and props management. I produced a large event for GooglePlaytime in September 2016 where I headed up all creative aspects of the event, having over all responsibility for the creative concepts, the overall look and feel of the event, sourcing all props, assisting with design and production of all graphics, along with set dressing for the event day itself.
I am always setting myself new challenges in my spare time to work on new passion projects. I am currently working on creating props and signage for a wedding, sculpting using clay and other 3D forms, as well as various photoshoots both in studio and on location.
