I am a highly creative art department trainee with previous experience working on serial television dramas. Whilst I have strong team working skills, dependability and an attention to detail, I am currently seeking to expand my experience further into high end television and take on newer challenges to improve my creative skillset.

1. Art Department Trainee

   Seaview - Strictly Arts Theatre Company · Mar 2021 - Jun 2021

   Seaview TV Mini Series - I worked as an Art Department Trainee and runner for just over 3 months. I dressed multiple locations, including bedrooms, living areas, offices, a university lab, a nightclub and a prison cell. During production, I had the opportunity to design a set. I modified a warehouse into an art classroom, created multiple prop paintings for the supporting actors and dressed the set with appropriate props. Throughout the shoot, I kept continuity for multiple scenes and liaised with the script supervisor for shots that involved resetting. I communicated and worked closely with the director to ensure their vision was executed. I was able to utilise my artistic skills by sketching several drawings for an art student character to aid story development.

2. Art Department Trainee / Work Experience

   I shadowed the standby art director on set for a portion of a filming block. I helped the art department by dressing the sets and preparing props that were going to be used. I also completed the BBC health and safety course and received my production safety certificate.
